I'm an artist, writer, radio producer and experimental music composer who first started listening to bridge cables in 1994, and created Singing Bridges, an urban sonic sculpture using the cables of bridges as musical instruments on a global scale. I work with field-recordings, on-site interventions and improvisation, in collaboration with artists around the world, and have traversed the globe from Helsinki to the Mekong Delta and Singapore to Paris, in an endless quest for bridge music. Work is recently exhibited, broadcast & performed at ISEA, European Sound Delta, Pixelache, Transit Lounge, Liquid Architecture 9, soundmuseum.fm, Das Kleine Field Recordings Festival & Radio WNE.

The making of each work transforms the way I see myself and the world around me. Once I start engaging in the process of working I'm embarking as well upon a journey whose point of arrival is unkown to me. For me, intentions and preconceived ideas have a very limited role in the creative process. More fascinating are the impasses, the unexpected procedures, the accidents, the unwanted discoveries, as well as time wasted and useless moves. I'm thus working in different mediums, always looking for the one that is matching to mediate what I want to tell during the process of working. Out of a personal passion either I'm visiting people that fascinate me and talk with them or I'm inviting people to participate in the process of my projects.

Stefanie Wuschitz uses interactive technology to build mobile sound and video installations. Her site-specific work invites users to experiment and play, encouraging the construction of unique social and collaborative spaces. In 2006 Stefanie Wuschitz graduated with an MFA from the University of Applied Arts Vienna and moved to New York. She lived in New York for two years, finishing a Masters degree at Tisch School of the Arts (New York University) in 2008. For a one year Digital Art fellowship at HUMlab and the Umeå Institute of Design she moved to Sweden.
Together with Karin Jangert, Ramona and Elmira Zadissa she organized the international festival "Eclectic Tech Carnival", held in Umeå from June 8th to June 12th 2009.

Kyd Campbell works as an independent programmer, exhibition designer and curator specialized in circulation, media and audio art and also as a digital creator of public interactive situations. She has developed a number of cultural venues in Canada and Eastern Europe including collaborations with the Upgrade! International network, Public Art Lab's project Mobile Studios, the Pure Data community, the HTMlles festival, CTM, the Transmediale and CTRL_ATL_DEL festival in Istanbul. She is co-founder of tiny noise, a nomadic sound art exchange platform and contributes to digital communities and research groups focused on observing mobility and the emotional aspects of human-machine relationships.

Rebecca Cunningham is an Australian curator, sound, and performance artist interested in all methods of making. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Music, Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University and Bachelor of Creative Industries 2A Honours, Interdisciplinary from QUT.

Us(c)hi Reiter studied graphic and design at the Kunstuniverstät Linz. As artist and web developer with a special interesst in net.activism and audio-visual communication she has been collaborating with different groups and artists since 1998.

She continues to research Free/Libre/Open Source Software in the frame of cultural production and art as well as work on conceptual and performative setups using electronic and analog media.

Since June 2005 Reiter runs the non-profit cultural backbone organisation servus.at/Kunst & Kultur im Netz. (www.servus.at)
